Should get Frost closer to competitiveness. Especially if FB-FB-BFFFB triple crits with ghost charges of FoF still work.

Burning Soul threat reduction improved to 10%/20%.
Glyph of Fireball changed to 0.15s cast speed reduction.
The first helps against against frontloaded burst, the second is a tiny change to reduce the absurd crit levels.

Incanter's Absorption only procs from Mana Shield, Ice Barrier, Fire Ward and Frost Ward.
It was fun while it lasted, but nevertheless a trainwreck for game design and balance.

Many Proc Auras (Elemental Oath, Arcane Empowerment, Ferocious Inspiration) are now passive auras with a higher range.


3.3 PTR updates. tl;dr Incanter's Absorption nerfed. It's useless now, so all you nubs that didn't spec into it, GRATS! You saved 100g!

Glyph of Fireball changed. lol fire.

BREAKING NEWS!!
Blizzard tries to make Frost good. Still sucks. More at 11.

Also, our +3% damage buff is always up. Yay who gives a fuck?

Yea, I read that a while ago but idk, it int to sp conversion was only like 29sp or something.

seems wrong to me and I'm not sure why Fetish of Volatile Power isn't on there at all. I would assume Fetish of Volatile Power > Maghia's Misguided Quill / Dying Curse

That list depo posted only applies to Arcane Mages. An arc mage would never want the trinket of sindragosa.

Hence the reason Talisman of Resurgence is on there. If your class has nothing like http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=31588 paired with http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=12503 as a dps, you'd never want it.

It is more than just that Incin. The on use is very powerful, especially when you pop it alongside everything else. On top of that, Evocate is based on % mana, so the more int you have the more mana return you get out of it. This also means that if you get REAL unlucky with your missile barrage proc you can continue arcane blast spam at 4 stack until it procs, without worrying too much about mana since 1) you have a larger mana pool and 2) you get larger returns from evocate.

So in short, it adds a powerful "on use" cooldown, plus provides room to work with proc RNG and keep your dps high.

The entire point of that post was to point out that the list is arcane mage specific, which to seem to have completely missed.
